Viewership of “true crime” and fictional crime is really peaking in these stay-at-home days.
This one (which I havent seen) had 34 million views in its first 10 days.
Of course Netflix got “our” case seriously wrong and we’ll take them (and the predatory Knox tribe) to task in press releases once the US election is done.
This has been my own favorite fiction series in recent weeks. Final episode next week. Amazingly taut. A few negative reviews were based only on episodes one and two.
And this Spanish crime fiction movie with English subtitles has one of the best windups and endings I’ve ever seen. Resist reading the Wikipedia summary before it ends if you can (okay, I couldnt, I sneaked a peek about 15 minutes before).

I did not know this (perhaps others did) but Meredith’s mum Arline died on the 11th June this year. Her grave is next to Meredith’s at Croydon cemetery.
She was in the at risk category with an underlying health issue so she may have been a victim of Covid, but that is just a guess.
John was reported as having been killed in a road accident last year. I had a look around, but no grave. I expect he was cremated.

Oh my goodness, James Raper. I am so sorry to learn of Arline’s death. It seems she didn’t linger in this earth very long after John Kercher’s death.
R.I.P. to Arline.
How good to see Arline beside sweet Meredith, who was always concerned about her. I can’t believe none of us knew about Arline’s death in June 2020. There’s just been sooooo much happening this year.
I hope Stephanie and Meredith’s brothers will stay strong and go forward. Thank you so much for the news about Arline Kercher.

So sorry to hear this news.
Although Arline didn’t see justice for Meredith’s killers, I’m certain that she, like us, knew exactly who was responsible for Meredith’s murder.
