certainly the english speaking press is making too much of some of these so-called quirks, the testimony is presented in court and the italian press seems to be the only ones picking up these statements.

These so called quirks of AK’s make me wonder if there is an insanity defense in Italy. It’s looking like she is acting more than a little crazy to me. A possible physchotic break if you will. Either that or as others have put it, gone crazy with the taste of freedom from rules & regulations on her actions, drunk with power even.

I just read this abc news quote on another site. It really upset me:

“A detective also described for the court the urgent messages they found on the cell phone of the victim, British exchange student Meredith Kercher, left by her family after they heard that an English student had been murdered in Perugia, Italy.”

It instantly took my mind away from all the detail - absorbing as it is - and back home. Back to that day. Here, not far from where I live Meredith’s parents would have been texting, over and over, hoping against hope, yet gradually realising there was only one reason they got no reply. Just let’s all stop for a moment and imagine the horror of that situation. Your beautiful girl. Your child. I cannot bear to think of it.

And all the while someone else is so blithe in the face of this reality they can do cartwheels, and snigger with their boyfriend. Shame on you Knox and puppy dog Sollecito. Guilty or innocent you are not decent, you have no hearts and your actions were shameful. It beggars belief. I am glad Knox is not my daughter. The shame of it…

Sorry. I am just so upset to read this there are tears in my eyes and I needed to speak out. God bless and keep Meredith Kercher and let justice be done…

Keep up the good work Peter. And thank you again.
