WHY Are The Corrupt Innocence Project & The Serial Italy Defamer Knox Associating? Explained.
The organizer mafia poodle Martina Cagossi seems to be in love with a false Knox
1. The Corrupt US Innocence Project
Watch out, Italy. In the US the Innocence Project (IP) has long been controversial.
It costs taxpayers many millions of dollars, it has been involved in a number of scandals, it undermines correct public perceptions of justice, it lowers law enforcement morale, and so naturally it is the mafias’ dream puppet.
The American IP has really become a huge and greedy cash-cow. Innocence and justice and other noble aims (except for its deliberately addled donors) are not really what it is about.
We looked at the IP deeply last year (see Part 4 below) because for the fourth or fifth time Amanda Knox was made a main keynote speaker and a big draw at the annual meeting.
Knox is in fact brought in to lie about Italy and her case, to generate a lot of heat, and to addle the IP donors into contributing big-time.
Are American pro-justice donors being asked by the IP to do the best for the US prison population as a whole? It seems quite the opposite.
We have long shown here that, contrary to Italy’s, the US’s justice system really is quite broken. One appalling result is that its prison population is proportionally six times that of Italy.
There are many aspects to why this is so, including the elections or political appointments of most judges and prosecutors (Italy’s are almost all career-path) which tends “justice” toward a very hard line for the accused in police handling, plea-bargains, and court (very few cases even make it to court).
Get this. There are an estimated 200,000 innocents now in American prisons who are there because they had the living daylights scared out of them by police and prosecutors. And so they accepted a plea bargain (meaning no expensive trial) in exchange for a lighter sentence than was threatened.
Some effort now goes into winding this back, but it is a long slow job - and the controversial Innocence Project (IP) is of no help at all. Instead the IP concentrates on freeing prisoners whose innocence can now be proved via modern methods for analysing DNA.
In 25 or so years the Innocence Project has freed a mere 360 or so prisoners! This is a drop in the bucket compared to the 200,000 prisoners we mentioned above.
The IP teams then go on to sue the government (meaning taxpayers) for false imprisonment. These suits often result in huge payouts (usually millions of dollars) out of which the lawyers and DNA experts associated with the Innocence Project take large cuts.
This shakedown is very, very expensive for American taxpayers - who instead could be given a huge financial benefit and vastly better justice if the costly prison system could be made to release those 200,000.
Could Italy, with its extremely careful justice system and humane prisons, really need this giant shakedown system at all?
Forever putting a black cloud over Italian police and prosecutors and judges and making their tough work even more-so?
Do think about it, Italy!

There’s no question but that Knox is Italy’s worst enemy. Single-handed she has created millions of bigots. Some go to Italy and make threats there.
We ALL know that here. We have all watched her campaign of demonization and vilification. We have put some dings in that and “frozen” some of the mafia poodles who spring to her protection and in earlier days could over-ride us.
All this turmoil about Knox in Modena (which is growing in Italy though there’s not yet reporting) came about because of the ridiculous incompetence of this foolish junior lawyer Martina Cagossi whose image is at the top.
She has raced to the media to crow about how she was the one to arrange for Knox to come to Modena. Most reporting about Knox and Cagossi is in Italian. Here is a quote from one report.
Martina Cagossi, a member of the [IP] association, recalled that “the relationship with Amanda was born in 2014, in America, during the annual conferences of the Innocence Network, which deals with the judicial events of people unjustly condemned and then acquitted after errors court. “
The thrust of Knox’s presence, however, disregards the judicial case: “Her case was analyzed by the media in an almost pathological way. This - she explained - will be at the center of the Modena scientific debate, with the aim of listening to a subject of what has created her image in public opinion.
Amanda Knox had already suggested several times that she could return to Italy “to close the circle”.
Dropping an entire organization in deep doodoo can be a real career-killer. My bet is that Martina will be dumped in a heartbeat when the dopes at the top realise their powers are on the line.
As KrissyG has already suggested in a very sharp comment under the previous post Knox will have had her eyes set on Perugia and quite possibly Rome and Florence.
Chances are now good that Knox wont even make it to Modena. Still no word it seems from Sollecito. His quite evident fear of course is that she wakes up one day and tells all as she is so mental.
Here’s one of the emerging complaints from within Modena legal circles. It defeats a good translation by Hoogle.
In essence it says that right there in Modena is someone, a Maria Grazia Modena, who went through a genuinely harrowing media experience.
Why was SHE not featured?
From Ansa News:
Perugia, June 10 - Amanda Knox, the former US exchange student convicted then acquitted of murdering British flatmate Meredith Kercher in Perugia, is to return to Italy on Thursday, ANSA has learned.
Knox will visit Milan before travelling to Modena where she will take part in an event at the Criminal Justice Festival, sources said.
She will be accompanied by her mother Edda Mellas and her boyfriend Christopher.
She is not expected to return to Perugia.

I do not believe for one minute Knox can resist returning to Perugia.
Goodness knows what Edda is doing there as there might well be a warrant out for her arrest. She and Curt were charged with Calunnia after telling US media their daughter was subjected to all kinds of abuse by the police and prosecutor.
I am not sure the charges were ever dropped.
Hi KrissyG
It seems things are heating up in IP and Modena circles, including among other panelists who may refuse to talk.
If Knox comes at all I doubt that she just wanders the halls seeking adulation from all concerned.
She was rumored to be booked for Perugia; ANSA seems to say that is not on. It could still be a surprise move.
The big sleeper is Carlo Pacelli who can cause havoc for Knox if he forces charges over the non-payment to Patrick.
As the box at the top says its around E100,000 Euros counting Patrick’s lawyers and court costs.
Pacelli could be paid big out of that so he is motivated to act. He has said he would. (Patrick is in Cracow Poland now.)
*********
Curt and Edda were charged with diffamazione which is the little brother of calunnia and committed away from the courts. Jools explains this here:
Curt and Edda were gone like rabbits with Knox late 2011 and so they were no-shows in 2012 in court.
Their defense? We all laughed. Hard to believe but they blamed Amanda! They claimed they were merely repeating what she said.
Actually they repeated that she was hit and made to “confess” again and again and again and we all saw it on US TV. They did it for example on “Oprah” here.
Soon the Supreme Court was confirming Knox’s calunnia conviction and disbelieved Knox’s wild claims. Not one court ever sided with her.
So between then and when Marasca and Bruno closed the case Curt and Edda had a very uncomfortable time.
I believe they might have been given some rap over the knuckles and the case was closed.
Note unlike RS Knox has never claimed damages for false imprisonment - kinda hard to do when 3 years in prison was for the calunnia and she failed a Supreme Court appeal against that.
