My thoughts are with the Kerchers today for what must be a very difficult time for them.

Very haunting and beautiful music. I had to listen to it several times.

At the time of Martin Luther King’s assassination, Robert Kennedy, who was speaking to a largely black crowd in Indianapolis, quoted Aeschylus:

‘Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.’

I think had Meredith lived, she would have accomplished full as much as any of these statesmen, in her own, individual way. No one can deny there was something very special indeed about her.
