Meredith’s Perugia #26: Amazing Tuscany, Just To The North And North-West Of Perugia

Meredith would surely have explored Tuscany. Probably even within her intended one year in Perugia - parts of Tuscany are mere minutes away.

Florence of course is in Tuscany (its capital). So are most of these sunflowers.  Also Pisa, and also Siena, the hilltop university city that most resembles Perugia.

The singer on the second video, Andrea Bocelli, comes from Tuscany - specifically from Lajatico, a village in the heart of the sunflower area.

He went fully blind at the age of twelve. We hope these sights linger in his mind.
